Nielsen’s latest report on the most viewed streaming television shows stated that the “Loki” debut episode was viewed for 731 million minutes, making it the third most-viewed streaming show during the week of its premiere. “Loki” trailed behind “Sweet Tooth,” which topped the latest Nielsen streaming rankings with 1,434 million minutes viewed, followed by “Lucifer,” which recently premiered the second half of its Season 5 on Netflix and has served as a consistent ratings driver for the platform....

Turns out, even in the frankly overstuffed Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are still heroes to be found and fresh adventures ahead. We now know one of them is going to be a spin-off based around the character of intergalactic bounty hunter and fan favorite Boba Fett. There hasn’t been much discussed about what has been dubbed “The Book of Boba Fett,” and during Disney’s investor call it wasn’t even mentioned....

Delivering the pulpy indulgence of “You,” the palace intrigue of “House of Cards,” and a dick-pics-per-episode ratio bested only by “Minx,” it would be right at home on many streamers. Many movies endeavor to get inside the mind of a maniac, but “Ted K” goes straight to the source. Director Tony Stone’s chilling, immersive, and sometimes aimless portrait of Unabomber Ted Kaczynski draws on some 25,000 words of rambling diary entries from the lonely cabin-dweller, who raged against society from his secluded Montana cabin until his 1996 arrest. With a harrowing, disheveled Sharlto Copley at its center, the haunting, ambling narrative spends its entire unnerving runtime trapped inside Kaczynski’s head, where his disdain for technological progress and environmental destruction builds from small-scale sabotage to some of the worst acts of domestic terrorism in U....

For the uninitiated (though at this point you’d be hard-pressed to find a video game consumer who isn’t familiar with “Terraria”), the game plays like an old school Metroidvania mixed with the sandbox design and limitless building possibilities of “Minecraft.” There’s a stunning variety of weapons, armors, building blocks and everything in between — entire systems for fishing, golfing, and home decoration exist, among other features — to loot and craft in the world, which is teeming with unique biomes and diverse enemies and friendly NPCs....

But rather than use that premise to blow up the status quo, Touzani meticulously works backwards, illustrating that there was so much more to these relationships than we could have possibly guessed. Working with an intricacy that rivals that of the craftsman at the center of her film, the auteur crafts a surprisingly warm story that subverts expectations at almost every turn. While “The Blue Caftan” is a film about a gay man exploring his sexuality, the love story at its core is really one between him and his wife....
